Our Materials

Materials matter

At Kartiel, material choice comes before form. Inspired by performance engineering, we select materials for strength, weight, and long-term reliability — not for decoration.

Forged Carbon Fiber

Forged carbon fiber is formed by bonding carbon fiber under controlled heat and pressure, creating a dense, high-strength composite.

Its organic structure produces a distinctive pattern in every piece, combining lightweight performance with modern technical character. Trusted in performance environments, it delivers strength without bulk — engineered for everyday wear.

WHY IT WORKS

Lightweight Strength

Strong without added weight, designed for all-day comfort.

Durability

Built to maintain structural integrity through daily wear.

Distinct Character

Each piece forms a unique pattern during the forging process.

Strontium Aluminate Glow

Select pieces incorporate strontium aluminate, a high-performance luminescent compound that absorbs ambient light and emits a subtle glow in low-light conditions.

The same advanced material is widely used in high-end Swiss watchmaking for its exceptional luminosity and durability. Integrated directly into the composite structure, it adds depth and function without disrupting the minimalist design.

SILVER & GOLD ACCENTS

Finely milled silver and finely milled gold powder are blended directly into the resin before being infused into the forged carbon structure.

Rather than sitting on the surface, the metals become integrated within the composite itself — creating depth, contrast, and natural variation throughout the material.

The gold used is genuine metal powder, not plating or coating, allowing it to interact naturally with the carbon and resin matrix.
